The Yaesu ATAS-120 is a unique mobile antenna designed for use with the FT-100(D), FT-847, FT-857(D), FT-897(D) transceivers. It utilizes a motor tuning system which tunes the radiating element for lowest SWR. No tuner or separate whips are required. The ATAS-120 will mount on any suitable SO-239 type mobile base, like the Diamond K-400C. Can also be used as a base station antenna. The optional ATBK-100 antenna base kit provides may be required for base installations without a good counterpoise.
