Thimbles
Thimbles prevent the crimping of guy wire and preformed guy grip terminations. They are used one size larger than the guy wire when terminated with cable clamps, or two sizes larger than the guy wire when terminated with guy grips. Available in three sizes: 1/4", 5/16", 3/8". Made of galvanized steel.

Preformed™ Big-Grip dead-ends

Ceramic Strain Insulators
Insulators are used to isolate guy wires into nonresonant lengths. The 500D can be used for 3/16"EHS, when terminated with cable clamps, and measures 2-1/4" long by 1-1/2" in diameter. The 500D is commonly referred to as an "egg insulator". The 502 is required for 1/4"EHS, or when using guy grips with either wire size, and measures 3-1/2" long, 2-1/2" in diameter. The 504 is for use with 5/16"EHS guywire, and measure 4-1/2" long, 2-7/8" in diameter.
