The R8 is an 8 band halfwave vertical antenna. Unlike most verticals, it requires no ground radial wires, as it already has a built-in counterpoise system. The antenna will safely handle up to a 3:1 mismatch at full power. Bandwidth is 150 kHz on 40m, 50 kHz on 30m, 350 kHz on 20m, 100 kHz on 17m and 12m, 450 kHz on 15m, and 1500 kHz on 10 and 6m. The R8 is a great choice in limited space situations, or portable and Field Day operation.
