The MFJ 948 is a 300 watt HF antenna tuner, very similar to the 949E, except without the internal dummy load. Features a custom designed inductor switch, 1000 V tuning capacitors, 4:1 balun, full-sized meter, 8-position coax switch, and more. The dual-needle meter allows simultaneous reading of forward power, reflected power and SWR--no need for a calibration proceedure. Meter back light requires 12 VDC, or use with MFJ-1312D AC adapter. Input accepts coax, balanced line, and random line.
