The MFJ 1778 is a G5RV multiband wire antenna, covering 10, 12, 15, 17, 20, 30, and 40m. The antenna is 52' long, with a 17' lead in, constructed of 450 Ohm ladder line. An 8-10 turn coax balun is required, which would use an additional 10' of whatever feed line is connected. A manual antenna tuner is recommended for use with all G5RV type antennas. Can be used as a horizontal dipole, an inverted V, or a sloper. Handles 1500 Watts. No asssembly required.
