The Ameritron AL-82 is a legal limit linear amplifier, covering all HF ham bands (a simple user mod allows 10/12m operation). This manual tune amplifier is engineered around two 3-500Z tubes, and is rated at 62-65% efficiency, incorporating a heavy duty Hypersil® transformer which develops higher output levels than competitors dual 3-500Z designs. The amplifier also features dual back-lit meters, adjustable ALC, time delay starting, over current shut off, inrush current protection and more.
