The Ameritron AL-1500 is a legal limit plus linear amplifier, covering all HF ham and WARC bands (a simple user mod allows 10/12m operation). This manual tune amplifier is engineered around a single Eimac® 8877 ceramic tube, and is rated at 62-65% efficiency. With only 65 watts of drive, it will loaf along at the legal limit with plenty of safety margin. The amplifier features a heavy duty Hypersil® transformer, dual back-lit meters, adjustable ALC, time delay starting, over current shut off, inrush current protection and more.
