These Ameritron AL-1200 is a legal limit linear amplifier, covering all HF ham and WARC bands (a simple user mod allows 10/12m operation). This manual tune amplifier is engineered around a single Eimac® 3CX1200A7 in grounded grid configuration, and is rated at 62-65% efficiency, delivering full legal power at 100% duty cycle. The amplifier features a heavy duty Hypersil® transformer, dual back-lit meters, adjustable ALC, time delay starting, over current shut off, inrush protection and more.
